I'm Stephen Thorns, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Qutis Clinics, a group of nurse-led medical aesthetic skin clinics based in Oxfordshire and across the UK. When we founded Qutis more than twenty years ago, the aesthetics industry was very different. Little regulation. Limited training. Too many clinics focused on quick results over safety or care. If I were starting again, I'd invest in digital education earlier. Create more online resources to help clients understand treatments, aftercare and safety standards. I'd also document more success stories from the beginning. Showcase the real human impact of great aesthetic care.
Basically, I'd have built our online presence faster. The clinical side was always strong. The digital side took longer to catch up.
Right now, we're expanding our advanced regenerative treatments and developing training programmes for new clinicians who share our values. We'll continue to grow our clinics across the UK while maintaining the personal, trusted feel our clients value.
