I'm Mattias Boden, founder of Joyquest, and I offer life coaching combined with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to help clients release emotional blocks, step into alignment, and live more joyfully. Through one-to-one coaching, guided EFT sessions and hybrid support, I support people in breaking past fears, healing past wounds and stepping confidently into their purpose. (thejoyquest.com)
My approach blends mindset work, somatic awareness and energetic clearing, not just talking but doing deep shifts.
Over years of personal growth, I discovered how many people carry emotional patterns built in childhood or triggered by life transitions. Simply coaching goals doesn't always reach those deeper patterns. I trained in EFT because it complements coaching: it helps unwind stuck emotions, signals, resistance. I created Joyquest to bridge inner healing and outer action, so clients can both feel free and move forward.
I believe life transformation happens when you heal internally and then rebuild externally. Joyquest is the container for that holistic shift.
The coaching and personal development space is filled with goal-setting and mindset work, but I noticed something crucial missing: the deeper emotional clearing that actually allows transformation to stick. Many people were experiencing repeated patterns despite working with coaches, emotional blocks that logic and goal-setting couldn't shift, childhood wounds that continued to sabotage adult progress, and resistance that traditional coaching couldn't reach. I wanted to offer a practice that addresses both the inner healing and the outer action, creating lasting transformation rather than temporary motivation.
I began offering free EFT sessions and small coaching packages to network contacts, friends, or people in growth groups. These early sessions allowed me to refine my style, collect testimonials, and begin telling the story of what an integrated approach can do. My initial service offerings included one-to-one life coaching sessions, guided EFT clearing sessions, hybrid coaching and healing support, and discovery calls and mini alignment sessions. I built my website, aligned branding, and shared content about emotional awareness, EFT technique, and mindset growth to attract people who resonated with deeper work. I also offered discovery calls and mini alignment sessions to help people get a feel for how I work before committing to full programs.
One early hurdle was skepticism or unfamiliarity with EFT. To address that, I created educational content, videos, blog posts and guided practice, explaining what EFT is, how it works, and demystifying misconceptions.
Another challenge was pacing: clients sometimes want fast change, while healing takes time. I learned to balance ambition with compassion, structuring programmes that allow space for integration, follow-up and gradual expansion.
Although I'm based in Sweden, much of my work is virtual (Zoom, recorded guidance, remote sessions), so I can serve clients across Europe and the English-speaking world. I often run short programmes or intensives (e.g. 4-week releases, "Emotional Reset") to give people a taste of deeper work.
I share insight on mindset, EFT points, emotional alignment practices and client stories via content channels, which helps people resonate and reach out. Joyquest invites those who sense deeper work is needed rather than surface coaching.
The strategies that have proven most effective for growing Joyquest include educational content about EFT, such as videos and blog posts that demystify the technique and build trust, as well as free taster sessions like mini EFT sessions and discovery calls that let prospects experience the work. Client testimonials and stories are shared to demonstrate real results through transformation narratives. Content on emotional awareness, including posts about mindset, EFT points, and alignment practices, attracts resonant clients. Additionally, short-term intensives such as 4-week programs like "Emotional Reset" serve as entry points to deeper work.
Through building Joyquest, I've learned several critical lessons:
If starting again, I would make these changes from day one. I would build a free resource library earlier with guided EFT audios, mini practices, and videos to nurture interest, and formalise onboarding materials outlining what to expect and how to prepare, so clients feel safe from the start. I would also develop group programs sooner, creating support circles to serve more people with less one-to-one load, and create structured content pathways that provide clear progression from free content to discovery to programs.
I plan to launch group coaching and EFT cohorts, so people can heal together in a container of support.
I will create self-paced courses and guided programs that combine video, audio and live sessions.
I aim to deepen content: podcasts, guided releases, mini workshops and free masterclasses, to bring more people into resonance.
I also hope to merge healing work with creative or purpose projects, for example coaching creators or impact entrepreneurs to align their inner work with outer mission.
Joyquest is unique because it combines traditional life coaching with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Instead of just focusing on goals and mindset, this approach helps you clear deeper emotional blocks and resistance first. This means the positive changes you make are more likely to last because they are built on a foundation of inner healing.
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a method that helps you release stuck emotions and limiting beliefs. It works by tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on an issue. This process helps to calm your nervous system and rewire the emotional patterns that might be holding you back, allowing for deep and lasting shifts.
If you feel like you're stuck in repeating patterns, held back by old wounds, or find that traditional goal-setting isn't working, Joyquest could be for you. It's designed for people who sense they need to do deeper inner work to move forward, heal past issues, and step confidently into their purpose.
No, you don't. While Mattias is based in Sweden, the coaching and EFT sessions are offered virtually. You can connect through Zoom and receive recorded guidance, making it accessible to clients across Europe and the entire English-speaking world.
You can easily get a feel for the work before making a big commitment. Joyquest offers discovery calls and mini alignment sessions. There are also short programmes, like a 4-week 'Emotional Reset', which are great entry points to experience the benefits of this integrated coaching style.
