Innervisions ID: Brand Design and Consultancy in London with Sapna Pieroux

I'm Sapna Pieroux, founder and creative director of Innervisions ID, a London-based brand design and consultancy specialising in business branding and personal branding.

At Innervisions ID I help entrepreneurs, creators, and purpose-driven businesses get clarity, stand out visually and verbally, and build a brand that works as a business asset.

One of the key things I bring is my VISION Process™, a six-step method I developed to guide brand strategy, identity, messaging, and positioning.

I also author the book Let's Get Visible!, which lays out that process and how brand clarity contributes to growth.

What Innervisions ID Does and Why It Exists

I spent over two decades working in design agencies, in marketing, advertising, and for media owners (EMAP, The Telegraph, Chrysalis) on big global brands. In those roles I often saw the tension between the creative side and the business side, too many brand projects felt disconnected from strategy or commercial purpose.

After having children and navigating life shifts (including battling postnatal depression), I realised I wanted to bring my experience directly to entrepreneurs. I wanted to offer branding that doesn't just look good, but helps purpose-led businesses get visible, be consistent, and grow.

The name "Innervisions ID" captures how I work: identity from the inside out, blending inner clarity (vision, values, purpose) with external visuals and messaging.

The Gap I Saw in the Brand Design Market

The branding industry is split between purely creative agencies and purely strategic consultants, but I noticed something crucial missing: integrated brand design that connects inner purpose with outer visibility while serving real business goals. Many entrepreneurs were experiencing:

  1. Brand projects disconnected from business strategy or commercial purpose
  2. Beautiful visuals that didn't translate to business growth
  3. Lack of clarity about their own brand identity and positioning
  4. Generic branding advice that didn't reflect their authentic purpose
  5. No structured framework to guide them from confusion to clarity

I wanted to create a consultancy that bridges these gaps, offering branding that embodies who clients are while functioning as a genuine business asset.

How I Built the Consultancy from the Ground Up

In the early days, I accepted branding, naming, design, and identity work for smaller clients, often via referrals. Over time those projects deepened, clients asked for more strategic help, and I refined how I engaged. As I developed the VISION Process™, it became a signature framework. That gave me a way to shape offers around clarity, visual identity, messaging, and positioning in a structured path. I incorporated the business and formalised my services into tiers, including Naming Call to help naming a business, One Day Brand Accelerator for co-creating or upgrading a brand in one day, bespoke rebrands for full strategic brand development, brand strategy and positioning for clarity work before visual design, and visual identity systems covering logo, color, typography, and brand assets.

Growing with Purpose-Driven Clients Across Sectors

Over time Innervisions ID has built a portfolio of clients across entrepreneurial, creative, professional, and purpose sectors. I work with people who want their brand to embody who they are and stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Our Unique Approach to Brand Design and Strategy

  • Strategic and Creative Integration: I don't just design logos. I bring business and marketing insight so your brand aligns with goals.
  • Proprietary Framework: The VISION Process gives clients clarity, confidence, and structure in the branding journey.
  • Rapid Yet High-Quality Options: The One Day Brand Accelerator lets clients get a full brand upgrade in a day, combining speed with depth.
  • Empathy and Understanding: My own life experiences, including health challenges, motherhood, and periods of invisibility, inform a human, grounded approach to guiding others to visibility.
  • Focus on Visibility as Impact: I see brand not as decoration but as the means by which ideas, purpose, or impact are seen and understood.

Top Marketing Strategies That Drive My Business

The strategies that have proven most effective for growing Innervisions ID include:

  • Showcase success stories and client brands: Website and social media content that shows transformation visually
  • Free tools, quizzes, and resources: Visibility or brand assets health check quiz that helps people engage without immediate pressure
  • Publishing the book Let's Get Visible!: Gave credibility, reach, and a way for people to understand the VISION Process before hiring
  • Speaking and mentoring: Collaborating with entrepreneurial or public sector transition programmes (e.g. Shifts to Success) to broaden visibility
  • Building a reliable team: Social media manager (Jade) and business development support to help with exposure

Key Learnings from Building a Brand Consultancy

Through building Innervisions ID, I've learned several critical lessons:

  1. Don't separate strategy from design. If your visuals don't align with your business goals, your brand won't work
  2. Develop your own frameworks and methods, they become intellectual property and help you scale
  3. Use content, resources, and free tools to build trust and let people sample your approach
  4. Hire carefully. The right people help maintain consistency; the wrong hires can erode your standard
  5. Share your story and vulnerability. Clients connect when they see the human behind the brand
  6. Be patient. Clarity, credibility, and recognition build over time, not overnight

If I Was Starting Over: What I'd Do Differently

If I were starting again, I would make these changes from day one. I would invest earlier in video content with brand storytelling and client cases to bring the visual transformation to life. I would create more scalable offers sooner, such as group programs and digital courses, so I'm not limited solely by one-to-one capacity. I would document processes from the start so onboarding new team members or contractors is smoother. Additionally, I would lean more into collaborations and partnerships earlier to broaden reach and impact.

Where Innervisions ID Is Heading Next

Looking ahead, I intend to deepen work with high-impact entrepreneurs globally, including outside the UK. I aim to grow signature group programmes and intensives based on VISION. I'm also exploring writing further books, giving keynote talks, and creating brand education for organisations.

My goal is that when someone thinks "I need a brand that's authentic, visible, and sustainable", they think of Innervisions ID.
